Bernice Sophia Thornton (1869-1948), daughter of Thomas Thornton, married Robert Warder (1863-1949) of Clarke Township. They had two children:
- Helen Warder b. 1887 and died at age ten.
- Marion Warder (1903-). Marion was a friend of one of Helen Thornton’s son and they exchanged postcards.
