I’m sorry Beverly, I don’t have further information. According to my records Manly Powers was married to Roxanne Caswell (or perhaps Caldwell) and they had two kids: Their daughter Lucinda Manly Powers had at least one child – Wesley J. Powers — and Amanda Powers (not sure of this). If you have further information which would perhaps help clarify this I would appreciate it. Okay, this is definitely our family. John A. Simpson was married to Flora McDougall – they definitely had two chilren. Myrtle A. and Clarence Gordon. I don’t know if Myrtle was every married. Would love to share more with your family.

My Husbund found your web sight well looking for his family tree. He is the son of Kevin Tulloch who is the son of George Tulloch.

It was such a nice supprise to see this part of his family as he never really new anything past his grandfather George.

Please contact me! I am the great-great-granddaughter of John J. Thornton b. 17 Jun 1820, d. 20 May 1905, who is the son of John Thornton & Frances Bowler. I do have a photo of John J. I am writing about the Canadian recipients of the medal of honor and would like very much to get in contact with descendants of Wesley J Powers. I am seeking pictures, and info pre, during and after the Civil War and images of front and back of his Medal of Honor.
